Wild Gourmet Day | The Forge

The Forge Corwen

Join founders Jamie and Sheena Corry for the day as they take you on a magical mystery tour of their land to forage, harvest and hunt all the ingredients you will need for a fantastic afternoon of feasting and entertainment.

Overview

This day is the wild foodie's idea of heaven. It is also the perfect introduction to eating locally and sustainably whilst also learning new skills and connecting as a team. Our menus in the past have included wild pigeon breast with caramelised hazelnuts and blackberry sauce, wild venison loin with potatoes, yarrow and goosegrass, with bilberry and honey cranachan for dessert. All followed by sloe gin chocolate truffles. But of course it all depends on what's in season and what we can find on the day!
