Welcome hampers

Everything we do at The Forge is designed to make your life just that little bit easier and help you relax into your holiday. Which is why we’ve put together some fabulous welcome hampers for our guests for this summer. We are extremely lucky to have so many amazing local producers on our doorstep and our hampers are a great way for you to sample some delicious Welsh food, safe in the knowledge that it has all come from just a few miles away from The Forge. What could be nicer than arriving after a long drive to find a gorgeous basket full of tasty goodies? The only hard bit is deciding which one to choose!

Breakfast Hamper (£40)

Our breakfast hamper is the perfect way to start the day with fresh orange juice, Llaeth Y Llan yoghurt and crunchy, sustainably packaged muesli. We also provide organic bread, Welsh butter and the most delicious jams from our good friends at Calon Lan preserves. You will get half a dozen eggs from our own Forge hens, local smoked bacon and sausages from the renowned and award winning Edwards Butcher’s in Conwy (where, incidentally, The Forge’s owner Sheena grew up!).

Barbecue Hamper (£35)

For anyone who loves outdoor cooking a stay at The Forge will be a dream come true! We provide a flat plate for cooking over the campfire which is just perfect for frying up the succulent beef burgers from our local butchers in Corwen or Edwards’ fine sausages. Grab a fresh bread roll, some delicious Welsh salted butter and Calon Lan’s amazing chutney and you are all set for some seriously tasty barbecue flavours. We also provide coleslaw from Blas ar Fwyd and of course the all-important marshmallows for toasting over the embers at the end!

Celebration Hamper (£60)

If you are celebrating a special occasion during your stay at The Forge then what could be nicer than arriving to a chilled bottle of fizz (non-alcoholic options available on request!), a beautiful handmade celebration cake (lovingly made locally) plus everything you need for a fancy afternoon tea. This hamper includes traditional Welsh cakes, Welsh butter, fresh local cream and Calon Lan’s extra fruit jam. You will also get some artisan chocolates handmade just down the road from us to really treat yourselves.

All our hampers are available to order when you book a stay online or you are welcome to contact us directly if you have any special requests. We are of course more than happy to provide gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives in all our hampers, at no extra cost. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice before you arrive as it we like to try and source the best possible ingredients. It's for this reason too that sometimes we may have to substitute some of our goodies for what is available locally.
