Last minute half term glamping holiday
Left it to the last minute to organise something for the half term holidays? A glamping break could be the perfect option for some good old-fashioned outdoor family fun!
Here's our top ten reasons why:
- You get to be outside the whole time without having to nag about putting on boots, coats, hats, gloves. You just ARE outside!
- You can avoid all the arguments about screen time because, quite simply, there are no screens. If you want to be doubly sure, tell them that you have forgotten to pack the charger (and don't forget to subtlely hide our solar power packs when you arrive!).
- You get to play with fire - a lot! Getting the log burners and campfires started and keeping them going will keep children, teenagers and adults entertained for HOURS! Trust me! Plus we can absolutely guarantee that you will never run out of logs. As hard as you may try!
- You can wear your pyjamas the whole time and not worry about what anyone thinks. Paired with a nifty pair of wellies they are the perfect glamping chic!
- You can drink gallons of hot chocolate all day and night, all the in name of "keeping warm" of course! We supply as much as you can drink so don't be shy now!
- It gets dark early which means you will be treated to the most spectacular star gazing. We are are in a Dark Skies area so there is minimal light pollution, just an amazing display of constellations and galaxies.
- The early nights also mean our nocturnal friends are up and about much earlier. If you are lucky you might get to see our resident barn owls, badgers, rabbits and hedgehogs.
- You can rediscover the sheer unbridled joy of beating your family at Trivia Pursuit, or rummy or even Pictionary. We have a large array of retro board games for you to get stuck into in front of the fire. Just don't blame us when things get a bit too competitive!
- It's a really cost effective way of taking everyone away for a short break. Our tents are only £96 per night so for a family of 4 that works out at only £24 each. Cheaper than a trip to the zoo and far more memorable!
- You can come for just one night if you're not sure and if we've got availability decide to stay longer once you're here and you know if you like it or not!
