Why The Forge is the perfect venue for a summer get together

There's space for everyone to sleep

Our five luxury bell tents each have a double and two single beds plus we can add in camp beds for kids so you can have 25 people all in beds with lots of cosy bedding, fresh linen and snuggly blankets galore.

You can bring your own tents and campervans

If you'd like to bring more than 25 people or some folk prefer to have their own space then you are welcome to bring your own tents or campervans for just £25 a night.

There's a gypsy caravan just for grown ups

If there's anyone in your group who would like a bolthole away from the general shenanigans in the main field then we have a gorgeous bow top caravan in a separate field which is ideal for two adults.

You can bring your dogs

We love having dogs to stay at The Forge and they are very welcome to stay in the tents and in the gypsy caravan too. We just ask that you clean up after them and make sure they don't nip over any gates or fences during their stay.

There's a big log cabin for hanging out in

Drewyn is our main communal cabin which has a large catering kitchen with all the equipment you need to prepare and serve meals en masse. There's loads of bean bags, a big leather sofa and lots of books and games too. It's the ideal place to hang out in if the weather looks iffy.

We have a Big Green Egg barbecue

Perfect for all the BBQ aficionados, this large barbecue comes with a lid and a large grill so you can cook up a grilled feast for all your mates. It sits on the main deck so you are always part of the main action.

There's an enormous cool box

We've got a massive cool box in the main communal cabin plus each tent has its own cool box in the kitchen cabin too. We'll keep you stocked up with ice packs for the duration of your stay so you are guaranteed to always have some cold beers to hand.

You can play music

We are located in the middle of pretty much nowhere so the only thing you are going to disturb are the snoozing sheep in the next field. We don't have any electricity on site though so bring your acoustic guitar and Bluetooth speakers.

You can have your own campfires

In fact we wholeheartedly encourage it! Each tent has its own campfire plus there's a big fire circle next to the main cabin plus another big fire pit up on the hill fort, the perfect location for watching the sun set and then spotting the stars as they come out. We can keep you well stocked in logs so don't hold back!

It is completely hassle-free

Literally everything is set up for you so you just need to bring your clothes, a towel, and something to eat and drink. You don't need to have any camping kit or experience which makes our place the ideal venue for those of you trying to navigate between the hardcore camping-loving friends and those who'd prefer to spend a week in a five star hotel!
