We are super excited about our new woodfired sauna and wildlife pond which will be the focus for lots of new day retreats that we are launching this year.
Whether you are keen to try your hand (or rather feet) at trail running, would like to connect with other like-minded women, or fancy learning more about self-sufficient living then read on!
Introduction to Trail Running Camp - Wednesday 1st May
We have teamed up with Warren Renkel of Run Llangollen to craft a day which will give you a good grounding in everything you need to know about starting trail running. After a 5km run to Caer Drewyn hill fort, you'll get to experience hot and cold therapy in our woodfired sauna and bucket plunge, find out about nutrition, as well as how to navigate in the hills. We'll also be covering strength and conditioning exercises to help you run faster and longer, and most importantly to avoid injury. You'll also have the option of a sports massage at the end of the day. It's just £70 for the day, which includes lunch plus unlimited sauna time. Book here.
The Fire & The Feminine Women's Circle - Friday 17th May
Join us for a day of slowing down, connecting with nature, and sharing experiences and intentions with other women. After an opening circle, we'll do some gentle yoga and mindfulness before heading into The Forge woods to experience the healing power of the trees. We'll regroup to set some seasonal intentions before enjoying the benefits of hot and cold therapy in the sauna and cold shower area. Lunch is included and it costs £70. Book here.
If you are not local to The Forge, you are very welcome to stay the night before or after (or both!) in one of our luxury glamping tents or our vintage gypsy caravan. Get in touch with us directly for specially discounted rates for our day retreat guests.
